Dear prospective Boys Team Charity League member,

Thank you for your interest in joining boys team charity (btc). boys team charity is a volunteer service organization dedicated to developing an altruistic spirit in young men through active participation of parents and sons in philanthropic projects in their community.

Our El Dorado Hills btc calendar runs from May 1st through April 30th. Our website will be open to prospective new members (graduating 2026-2030) from March 4-March 11, 2024. Please complete the Prospective Member App during that time frame if you are interested in joining the btc El Dorado Hills League. Please note that our membership is reviewed on an annual basis and class sizes are capped at 25. Prospective members must be sponsored by an existing member, and will selected by a random draw. You will be contacted by the membership committee via email on March X. 2024 with additional information regarding the new membership process if your name is drawn or a to notify you of your placement on the waitlist.

Hours Requirements:
Annual minimum Philanthropy Service Hours requirements for both boys and parent(s):
Grade 7, 8, & 9........................15 hours each*
Grade 10, 11, & 12..................10 hours each*
Annual minimum League Hours requirements for both boys & parent(s): 6 hours minimum each (earned by attending general and grade level meetings as mentioned above)

Volunteer requirements: btc is a volunteer organization that is operated by parent volunteers. All parent volunteers are expected to participate in a leadership capacity during your years in btc.

Financial Requirements: Each league has annual membership dues that are used to cover the costs of operating the league. Please contact the VP Membership (contact info will be provided to you at the end of this application) if you need specific league dues information.

Please note to qualify for membership in the btc El Dorado Hills League you must live in El Dorado Hills (95762 zip code). If you do not live within these boundaries, we are sorry you can't join us but we would be happy to direct you to new leagues that are in the process of forming. Sponsorship: Prospective btc members need to be sponsored by an existing btc member. If your son does not have a sponsor, we will work on finding one for him.

The Prospective Membership Drive will be open March 4th-March 11th.
